Inclusive Employment Australia

OARS Community Transitions is a Specialist Provider for people with an offending history in metropolitan Adelaide, as part of the Federal Government’s new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.

IEA replaced the Disability Employment Services (DES) program from 1 November 2025, offering people the tailored support they need to find and keep a job and thrive.

Inclusive Employment Australia supports people with an offending background to prepare for, secure, and sustain meaningful employment.

Our team works alongside participants every step of the way, offering:

  • Personalised career planning
  • Skills development and confidence building
  • Job search support
  • Connections to employers willing to provide opportunities for people with an offending history

We help participants identify strengths, overcome barriers, and build the capability to thrive at work. Because employment is more than a job – it’s a foundation for reintegration, independence, and good lives.

We have service locations across metropolitan Adelaide, and a dedicated contact on (08) 8249 0777 if you wish to discuss working with our specialist team.

Inclusive Employment Australia is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

OARS Community Transitions is delivering IEA in partnership with the Australian Refugee Association, supporting people from refugee backgrounds, and Inclusive Employment Australia – Specialist Provider – Mental Health – Sonder, supporting people with psychosocial barriers.
